Have been going in here for a long time. Always enjoy the drinks and the food. Everything was fine until my husband forgot his hat on the table around Thanksgiving. I called and the bartender assured me he had seen it and they had it. He didn’t see it at the moment but assumed it was locked up. Later he said another bartender said the man who owned it had picked it up. WRONG. Apparently the second bar tender had decided to take it for himself or give it to a friend. When I talked to the owner, he was less than friendly but said he would call me back. He never did. We’ve spent hundreds of dollars there over the past few years, and I’ve recommended them to many people. I won’t ever go back. If you accidentally leave something behind, they will take it and won’t even try to make it right. Go at your own risk.

A moderately large group of us went to have some pizza and just hang around. We ordered three large pizzas, all three different, and they were great! There was also enough for all eight of us.

Service was fine. Food was fine. The tab, however, was absurd. As a person who worked in the service industry for nearly 13 years—including nearly 7 years as a bartender—I am hesitant to critique even lousy service and always leave a minimum of twenty percent. After receiving the tab which included two beers, four shots, one large pizza, and one order of wings, I was floored when the total was nearly $140. As it turns out, the bartender was charging us for every single ingredient that went into making the shots as opposed to charging for the main ingredient or priciest ingredient, and perhaps an up-charge for the pricier mixers like Red Bull. Essentially it was the equivalent of ordering a Manhattan and not only being charged for the whiskey, but also being charged for the vermouth, bitters and even the cherry. I’m surprised he didn’t charge us for the ice he used to chill the shots. What’s worse is he apparently was out of the higher-end brand of liquor that normally composes the base of the shot, and we had no problem with him substituting for a lower-end brand. Unfortunately he still charged us for the higher-end brand. Aside from the tab, this was an otherwise fine bar. Perhaps the gentleman serving us was new to the industry and/or bar. However, if this is how they normally conduct business, I would advise all to stay away.
